Dometic 579 Series Brisk Air AC runs fine-blower still runs but every couple minutes it "kicks on and off" it will blow hot air and then cold air and continues to do this. Did not do this until we installed a new motor.

Sounds like it is skipping the motor I mean, I am assuming that it was replaced with the correct motor(rpms,hp,volts). As if it was not it will skip, like it is doing now.

well check a few things first....have someone remove the cover and reach in with a hand and try to manually spin the blade...free spinning?....then tell the person below to click in the on postion while someone views from up top.....is it humming? or even trying to spin?....if not check the fuse on the RV that protects the A/C unit.....good?.....now replace the capacitor ( it the silver or gray can looking thing that the motor wires run to) only the correct size will work w/o causing further motor damage.
My sheet shows part # 3100248.420 as fan run capacitor.You may have an updated number. Check voltage outputs labeled on it are same as on old one, and double check wiring is correct, to and from capacitor. Be careful not to mistake compressor start capacitor as well. By sounds of number, it's probably the right one.
Turn the ac off go up top the coach and remove the cover. Look for fan blockage, Wasp, mud dauber etc. Caution if it is wasps they will chase you off the end of your coach. Take some spray with you. If there is no blockage the fan motor is toast. Thanks for using Fixya Jerry
