I would just use the one from hardware store. nothing special about the wax from the manufacturer except the price...

be sure to do a thurough cleaning on the bottom of the toilet and make sure it is dry before you install new wax ring or it will leak.
you can actually use a hair dryer or set it in the sun to soften the wax ring, don't melt it, just soften it. makes a much easier time when setting the toilet down onto the wax.

Replaced our old toilet with this one and now smell coming up from septic will not go away. Did not have this problem before. What can be done to get rid of the smell?

I would suggest that you shut water supply off to your toilet ,disconnect supply line from tank and pull toilet back up. Get a new wax base seal prefreablly a double thick wax type and after cleaning outlet on your toilet reset it on new ring.. Make sure when you tighten retaining nuts that you do so evenly. What I do is carefully center toilet on ring with ring already set in drain flange with bolts in place. Set toilet down on base and push gently from side to side to get bolts thru far enough to get plastic washer and retaing washer and nut on bolts. Carefully tighten bolts going from one side to the other say three turns on each side. Tighten securely, then set on toliet faceing wall and gently rock back and forth, front to back and side to side to help set toilet base in seal. Recheck tightness of nuts and snug up a little if needed. Be careful as the base will break if you overtighten the nuts. Reattach supply ,turn on water and check out. You should be able to get a double thick wax seal at most hardware stores. Good luck. Thanks

When you sit on the ring it veers off to the left and you are left sitting there crooked. How do we adjust it?

See if nuts on studs on bottom where it mounts to the floor & flange are loose. If they are loose tighten both of them evenly. If they are tight you will need to replace wax ring that is between toilet & floor.Turn off shutoff water valve to toilet. Flush once holding down handle to let tank drain. Remove both nuts & lift toilet off flange. Remove wax ring. Scrape all old wax off toilet & floor flange. Install new wax ring. Set down toilet on ring & snug nuts evenly. Sit on seat & apply your weight evenly to distribute wax & level. Retighten nuts. Turn water back on. Allow tank to refill. Flush toilet & check for leaks.

We bought the Jacuzzi Perfecta toilet 1 year ago

The complication here is that Jacuzzi does not make toilets anymore than Sears makes refrigerators. In Sear's case their Kenmore refrigerators are from Whirlpool with the Kenmore name.

It is my understanding that Eljer was the manufacturer of the toilets with the Jacuzzi name typically sold at box stores. With that as a starting point, surf the web for any Eljer toilet tank replacement parts and see if you can find a similiar flusher

Have to replace two new toilets seats, the seats move

Martin, Jacuzzi has a one year warranty on toilet seats so if you have defective seats and they were purchased less than a year it is covered you will have to find a dealer near you, I provided a link for you to accomplish this. How is the seat attached? There should be two plastic screws with a nut on the underside which can be tightened these tend to loosen and nee re-tightening every so often. I hope this has helped. Thanks for using FIXYA, good luck and have a great day. Jeff

How tight is the tank/bowl supposed to be a

They only need to be tight enough to sufficiently seal the donut between the tank and the bowl. Some movement is acceptable. It is better to be a little loose than to overtighten them and risk cracking the tank.

My new EZ-33 cloggs easily with small amount of waste to flush.

you have to take the whole toilet out. you need to check the opening of the down pipe. most likely the wax ring is blocking the soilds. shunt off the water drain out the toilet, unbolt the floor bolts and left it up. clean out the down pipe and replace a new wax ring.

No draw on toilet

did you put the wax ring on the floor first or on the toilet?
it should be on the toilet first, then move to the "hole in the gound"
