How to install intermatic PB913N66

Open following link to identify timer:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intermatic-PB800-PB900-timers.pdf

The timer has 4 terminal connections.
2 terminal connections are for the clock motor, and 2 terminals are switched just like ordinary light switch.
See how to connect terminal ends to electrical wire by crimping:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Terminals.html

Which 2 terminals are for clock, and which 2 are for switch?
Test across both sets of terminals using continuity tester or multimeter set to read ohms.
Then rotate override knob to next position, and repeat test on both sets of terminals.
The set of terminals that changed when override was rotated are the switch terminals.
The other set of terminals are the clock terminals.

Connect 120Volt Hot and neutral to the clock terminals. Turn on power and make sure clock dial rotates.
Next: the cable going to Load has 2 wires: Black and white.
Cut the black wire. Crimp terminal connections on each end. Connect each end of black wire to the switch terminals.

To set timer for on-off operation, open following link:

I have a ceiling fan switch (Westinghouse 77075) that was broken, so I do not know where the wires (black, gray, yellow and purple) went. The speeds are black+gray+yellow, black+gray+purple, and...

I can offer resources:

1) Test switch that was removed, and test for hot connection to narrow down options.

What speed was fan stuck in when switch was removed? Let's say medium speed.
Which connection at fan is hot? Use voltage tester to find hot connection at fan, and match that up with wire-color on switch that was removed.
One and only one wire on 3-speed fan switch connects to hot. And the hot wire is the only wire that connects to each other wire as switch cycles through pull-chain sequence. All pull chain switches follow same sequence: off, low, medium, high.
Let's say old switch was stuck in medium, and you know which color wire connects to hot.
Test switch with continuity tester to see which wire(s) have continuity with hot wire: some switches, it will be 2 wires, and other switches it will be 1 wire. Match where wire(s) were connected, and map that to tests on new switch.

2) Open following link for illustrations and some other links.

I connected a 100/10 switch behind the router. The link led (uplink) flickers and data transfert through switch in drastically reduced (by factor 150) Can I connect a switch behind the Dsl rputer ?

Hi,

1. Connect one end of your Ethernet cable to one of Four 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN Ports.

2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into one of the ports in the switch (try not to use the uplink port if it slows-down the connection)

Thanks

How to link with 16 port switch with 8 port switch

Good question.
To link the new switch, take a short cable from the LAN port on the new Switch and connect it to one of the existing ports on the old or connected switch. it's just a daisychain.
Just keep in mind that the LAN connection on the Last switch must be connected to a PORT on the prior device on the LAN.
