I need the driver for my monitor ACER x193hq for windows xp, can you help me?

Try new VGA cable?, Try it on another PC? Try reseating the video card?

this means their is some conflicts between the graphics card drivers or the drivers are not installed properly. so re-install the graphics card drivers.

verify if your monitor is plugged on VGA or HDMI at videocard

you need to center the image using the control settings on the monitor panel, hope this helps

tilt phisically? It depends on the support stand it comes with.
If you mean rotating it, it is not possible with the included stand.
You may rotate the image on it by pressing the right side Alt key and the arrows at the same time. Depending what arrow you press with the Alt key the image can rotate to the left or right.

The acer LCD monitor is plug and play.You don't need a driver.But unless you have a graphics card that supports at least 1440x900 you have problems. Also if your card has a div connection, use that instead of the analog connector, The monitor comes with that connector. Use the old one to connect a second CRT monitor if you want. Don't connect both to the lcd monitor and to the computer unless you are using a second monitor. Like everything these days, every purchase seems to need an upgrade of sorts, On board graphics **** anyway. Buy at least a 128 MB graphic card with a digital connector and more RAM never goes astray.....

To my knowledge, it is compatible and certainly would work with XP. Since this monitor has both DVI and VGA inputs make is compatible for most video cards or even a built-in video of the PC. If for some reason the Acer X193W would not work with your Windows XP PC, possible reasons are:

• Screen Resolution and/or Screen refresh Rate of the PC's Display Properties too high, try lowering them down;
• hardware fault either on the monitor or video card;
• incorrect/missing drivers of the video card;
• it is being hooked as a secondary monitor and the dual/twin view is not activated.
