I just bought my madcatz headset from the shop. Charged it for 4 hours and the red LED turned off so I suppose it is charged. Then i go to the “Manage Bluetooth® Devices.” and go to the screen where it says start scanning. I hold the power button until it starts flashing red and blue. Then I press X to start the scan. The problem is that the screen says only Scanning... Please wait.( I have tried multiple ways like holding the power button down all the time or just clicking it or what ever) On the box it says compatible with/avec PS3 playstation.3 so it shud work? Help please.

The power button is not the right button to press.

Here is the steps I take:

1. Power on the headset
2. Have PS3 scan for new devices
3. Hit the tiny button that is next to the volume buttons on the top of the headset.
4. PS3 should recognize "8860" and ask for a passkey which is "0000" by default
5. Paired and ready to go

Mine wont turn on
Hello, did you check the battery? Tu get the full charge, the headset red light must stay steady on. If you get it charged you can pair it: hold power button till the two leds blinks, now scan for bluetooth from PS3 and choose your mic setting. Other than that I'd call madcatz technical support. The red light indicator says it's charging, but it isn't.
idk that happen to me too buht my blue toooth i just baught a gamestop madcatz .. and on the instruckstions sheeet it says if its charging it;ll turn red . buht myne turn red for like 3 sec then it disapeares .... :O

Charging
There's a small power jack under a tab at the base of the unit. I found it only charges if you plug it into the transformer travel charger. For some reason plugging it in the PC USB port doesnt work.

If the unit is being charged a red LED will light up, turns blue after 2/3 hours when its fully powered up.

Won't charge up...
I had the same issue. So what I did was get a small screwdriver, opened the A210 case removed the battery. You will notice orange tape (remove it) then attached to the battery is a small board (the defective part) . Cut away the board, then you will need to solder the wires back to the thin metal film leads. And voila it will now charge, make sure to never let it charge for more than 2 hours. Do this at your own risk. Of course this will void the warranty.

My motorola H700 keeps staying red when charging
Wait, how long have you waited for it to charge? It's supposed to stay red until over 80% charge, then switch to yellow. When it is fully charged, it goes to green. When you mean it stays red when plugged in, have you waited the 2 hours?
