if its a fault with bluetooth you switch on the radio and leave volume low, disconnect the battery and leave car for about 15 mins then re-connect battery. Get into car and do not touch the radio, power up Blue tooth on your phone again and it should give you the 'success' message on dash. You might have to use the four digit code on your phone which is 0000 , that's four zeros.
Apparently disconnecting the battery & re-connecting will re-set some of the required electronics for your Bluetooth connection.
obvious question , sorry , have you got the radio hand book to follow the set up procedure , sometimes the bluetooth will only accept a certain amount of connections and then needs to be reset , otherwise might be a question for I phone
Hi, i'll need a bit more info to be able to give you an opinion , am i correct in assuming the "new kenwood " is a radio/cd player ? If so do you have a car phone or a hands free kit for your mobile/cell phone ? Assuming the kenwood is a radio the mute wire has to be connected to the car phone/mobile hands free kit , this is usually described in the phone installation directions , how the mute system works is when you recieve a call the signal is sent via the phone system to the radio , which is where the mute wire comes into use .If you have either of the phone set ups i've described post back with there details , make , model etc ,if you do not have this type of system and are using an ear piece then the mute funtion can't be used , i hope this is of some help to you
Call you Mini Dealer, I am sure that they will help you through this problem. If the dealer cannot help you go to the Mini website and look for a technical support contact.
the owners manual should tell you how to do this, if not I would go back to dealer, and have them show you how to do this , with this being a 2014 iam sure they will help you

Your phone has to be capable of blue tooth.Go into menu on car and phone for blue tooth.Set the car to discover or your phone and the phone will say discoverable for 30 seconds then the car or phone will say pair enter number. This number usually is 0000 then the car will say LG or what ever type of phone you have and you are done every time you get into the car it will automatically sink with your phone as long as blue tooth is turned on in your phone. Any one hooking their phone to your car will be number 2 If they drive the car and you are not with them their phone will hook up. You can by house phones that do this. You come home lay your phone down and your in another room the cell phone rings. You can push the cell phone button on your house phone and answer it or make a call from it . It will ask you on the screen if you want to use the home phone or cell phone and it stores your contacts also. If this helps please rate it
