Unfortunately your going to have to have it serviced by an Authorized Panasonic Dealer. Independent shops will not be authorized to order parts without the consent of Panasonic. They are rough to deal with.
The power supply, and or some other board in the set has probably failed, and the supply is in the protect mode.
These sets are not serviced at the component level unless the fault is very simple. They are serviced by swapping out the modules.
As for the schematics, the service reps mainly use functional diagrams, and use the factory level alignment sections. They replace the failed modules and then do any necessary calibrations according to the service set-ups. At home I don't think you would have the necessary facilities and tools to troubleshoot the set and to do any of the calibrations if necessary.
As for the electrical power, is there any difference between where you are and back in the UK? If there is, and if you did not use the proper power conversion equipment the set was probably damaged.
Another aspect to look at is if the broadcast system is different between India and the UK. If so, the set will not be able to receive any programing without the proper conversion process. Signal conversion will add some quality loss.
I strongly think your set may not be compatible to the standards for the country where you brought it because of the fact that the set is not locally supported.
I am located in North America. When I was working in TV service we had people bring TV sets from different parts of the world. There were both electrical and signal standard differences. In the end, they had to buy a new TV set that would work locally. The foreign set ended up being a useless monument in a storage room.
I had the same problem with my new TH-50PX60B. I turned the tele on then after 5seconds it would switch off. The standby light would then blink on and off 11 times, pause for a second then flash 11 times. This would continue until the power wasturned off. Note the TV would not turn on for more than 5 seconds.
I solved this problem by turning the tele on and checking the fans at the back. My tele had 3 fans. If one of the fans is not turning, this will be the cause of the problem and the tele will shut down under the Emergency Shutdown System. To clear the fan try blowing on it to free up any dust etc. If that still doesn't work try using a thin instrument (tie wrap etc) to manually turn the fan and free it. Then power off the tele and turn it back on. The tv should work perfectly.
