if this is a new sim card then there will be a PUK code on the plastic card that the sim card was attached to
turn the phone on , and put that PUK code in then a PIN number and you should be right to go
remember the pin number that you use
First of all, you need to know what PUK means, it simply means Personal Unblocking Key.<br /><br />Phone requests for PUK code/number when a wrong code has been entered more than 3 times while trying to access your phone. The Sim card blocks itself and requires you to enter the PUK number in order for you to gain access to your Sim card once again.<br /><br />Most of the times, the PUK number is found inside the pack that you got the Sim card out of. In the pack, you will see a card, the one you broke the Sim card from, you will see your mobile number, the Pin number to the phone, then you will see a 8 digit code on the card, that is your PUK number.<br /><br />If you do not see it on the card you broke the Sim card from, then you will have to check thoroughly in the pack for the number.<br /><br />If you do not find it there, do not panic, you can call the customer care of the Sim card provider, they will give you Your PUK number as long as you can answer some easy questions about your Sim. <br /><br />Then you enter the PUK number on your phone, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN number, then you confirm the Pin number, after reentering the new Pin number, you will be able to assess you phone once again. Make sure you enter a Pin number that you will easily remember in order for you not to encounter such problem again.<br /><br />Hope this was helpful!
first
ask your service provider for the PUK numbe. after getting the PUK
number, go to security settings and choose change PIN, it will ask for
old PIN number, try a random number and then it will show, sim blocked,
please insert PUK number. insert the PUK you got from your operator and then you will be able to change your PIN and hence remove it.
If that is a pin number after 3 wrong attempts your phone will say PUK LOCK in that case call yoru Service provider and they can give you the code , so you can reset the pin number. If its a phone lock code and you have chaneg the code and now cant remember it , than you have to call Samsung and they will refer you to there local service centre
PIN CODE and the PUK code is SIM dependenet and not phone dependent
PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times, This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...
if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM
NOTE: You should ask your service provider, get the PUK,
you will have to "block" your card by putting in the wrong password 3 times, you will then be asked for a puk code, when putting in your puk code, you will be asked to put in a new pin number. ask your service provider for your puk code.
If you have lost your pin number, the only way to rest the PIN is either using a different SIM card, or entering wrong PIN three times, triggering in PUK code, and then calling SIM card phone company to unlock the PUK.
A lost PIN cannot be retrieved, only the PUK can be discoverd, but you will have to call the phone company.
PUK means "personal unlocking key" .
The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.
You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.
In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.
The
SIM card provider is the brand on the SIM card. For example if you have
a Vodafone card, you will need to call Vodafone to get the PUK.
The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.
If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.
