My first thought is that if you were using these devices to replace existing light switches, the MA-S8AM has an additional electrical connection that wasn't necessary with a light switch or the MA-600. The MA-S8AM has an addtional screw on it (I think its silver in color) that connects to the neutral wire in the circuit. Hopefully you have a bunch of white wires all wire-nutted together in the back of the box - pull a connection from there and attach.

If that's not the issue, then I would call Lutron's tech support. They're available 24/7, so you may as well. They're at 1-800-523-9466.

Require schematicwiring ofma400 and high power 2 lutron dimmer

You can access Lutron's Wiring Library here:

http://www.lutron.com/Service-Support/Technical/Pages/WiringDiagrams.aspx

I couldn't find an MA-400 or High Power 2 dimmer, so you might want to double check the model numbers and look for a match in the link above.

Need the wiring diagram for MAW-603-rh-wh

http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/0301122A.pdf

On the first page, its the wiring diagram smack-dab in the middle.
If you couldn't find it before, its because the MAW-603-RH-WH is a package containing two other products, the MA-600 and the MA-R. So the instructions I have noted above are appropriate.

I have a Meastro dimmer MAW-600 W that is installed, but the light does not turn on and the LED keeps blinking. Any idea what the problem can be?

1) If this installation was working before, the Maestro has a small pull-out circuit breaker that lets you reset the device. This is called the FASS Front Accessible Service Switch, located at bottom of dimmer where it meets cover plate.
Open sample Lutron Maestro dimmer manual to see FASS illustration
http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/0301106A.pdf

2) If this is new installation, then double-check your wiring and check that load matches dimmer capacity: 600 watt incandescent or halogen, which excludes CFLs apparently.
Some electronic devices have shortened lifespan on circuits that are not clean. Use circuit analyzer on outlet on same breaker to see if line has interference.

3) I don't see MAW-600 W listed among Maestro dimmers, so I don't have that specific manual.
http://www.lutron.com/Service-Support/Technical/InstallationInstructions/Pages/InstallationInstructions.aspx?syst=Dimmers+%26+Switches&prodn=Maestro%C2%AE+dimmer+%26+switch

4) Amazon certainly shows the MAW-600 W, in case you need a replacement.

Wired up dimmer light output is not the same as when i hook it up to a regular switch

1) Overview of product indicates it dims by electronics (they say saves 15% electricity)
The electronics might be bad
http://www.lutron.com/Products/StandAloneControls/Dimmers-Switches/MaestroDimmerSwitch/Pages/Overview.aspx

2) Load types
Different dimmers are made to work with different types of lighting
Depending on your model number, the type of load may be a factor
http://www.lutron.com/Products/StandAloneControls/Dimmers-Switches/MaestroDimmerSwitch/Pages/Models.aspx

3) Total load
A regular 15 amp light switch carries 1440 watts
If you have the 600 Watt dimmer, load wattage should not exceed 600W >>> add up total bulb wattage

4) Lutron seems to have about 60 different manuals
A quick look at the wiring seems straightforward 1-1 wiring replacement with ordinary switch
Did you connect ground wire to green screw on dimmer?

5) If the dimmer and load requirements match with the dimmer you own, I think the problem might be a short .... exactly where the short is located is solvable by testing the lights and timer and surrounding circuits with a multi-tester >>> the testing would start at the dimmer.

6) All considered, you could replace the dimmer with another one from Home Depot and see if same problem persists.

I've had several MA-600 tap panels that stopped working, causing me to replace the unit. Is this a common failure mode ? Are there more robust models available for multi-control dimming ?

It would be helpful if you clarified what "stopped working" means. Regardless, their tech support center at 1-800-523-9466 can help you figure out why its happening, is available 24/7, and will more than likely replace the units for you.

Lutron dimmer problem

There should be no interconnection between the dimmer for the ;lighhts and the media power .. isolate the dimmer / lighting circuit and troubleshoot it separately,

Lights won't dim

Here's a link to an article that explains the wiring. If you've followed the guidelines, then maybe you have a faulty dimmer.

I purchased a replacement MA 600 3 way dimmer. The old ones had wires, this one screws. Can you tell me how they map?

http://lutron.com/CMS400/page.aspx?id=16977

The black screw is the common (either power or switch leg depending on which side of the 3-way you are working with), the brass screw is one traveler and the blue screw is a low voltage communication lead (second traveler). I have attached a link to Lutron's wiring diagram pages, just select your dimmer.
