How can I change my username & p/word back to [email protected] from [email protected] I don't know how I've managed to change it.

go into the log in page - hit "forgot user ID" - they will email you a new one or email you a link to pick a new one - use at least 8 characters. Then go back to log in enter & enter your new user name. Try your old password - if that doesn't work, hit "forgot password" & they'll let you reset.

Sometimes the services change their setup. The current setup for AOL to support IMAP is:

Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.aol.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.aol.com

Make sure port settings are:
IMAP-993-SSL
SMTP-465-SSL

if it is like cisco you need to log into the switch via a console emulator and a 9 pin serial null cable from a laptop in via the console serial port of the switch.
then read page 67 of Return to Default Configuration

Sounds like the D-Link is failing. Here is what you can do.
First grab a pen and push the reset button on the back of the router (hold it for 5secs)

Next follow the link below to change your username and password. If you cant find the D-Link CD dont panic, simply continue following the instructions for additional info.

If you don't know the IP address of the router, you can open Windows Explorer, click 'Network', and then double-click your router. You'll be redirected to a webpage where you must put in a username and password. If THIS is the username/password she changed, the only way you can change it back without knowing what she changed it to is by resetting the router.This is usually done by pressing a small button near the back. If she changed the password that other computers use to CONNECT to the router (i.e. wireless), then you'll put in your username and password- the default is 'admin' and 'admin', unless you changed it- and from there you can enter the wireless settings to change the password back.

Firstly, bear in mind your carrier's APN settings. Contact they, in case you don't know such data for sure.

Then, go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access Point names'. Once there, press 'Menu > New APN', and fill in a 'Name' for it, and, at least, your carrier's data under 'APN', 'Username' and 'Password'. Then, press 'Menu > Save'. Press the back button as many times as required for you to reach the home screen you were in, prior you've started making these changes.
