I cleaned my freezer and now it won't freeze

When you say "cleaned", did you defrost it? And. if so, could you have damaged the internal lining? Often the coil inside the wall of a chest freezer can fracture if hit or stabbed at during defrosting.
Other than that, is the compressor running (you would hear it)? it may have overheated. If not running, see if it feels hot (siezed) or cold (no power from thermostat). If cold, put it on fast freeze and see if it kicks into life (thermostat faulty) or not (compressor fault, time for a new freezer!)
Let me know how you get on!

I have a deep freezer, the light is on but doesn't freeze. It's only 2 yrs old what could be the problem?I unpluged it and waited 10 mins pluged back in and nothing the red light stayed on but...

Well a freezer is easy to repair. The circuit goes from one side of the power cord to the cold control and down to the compressor then out to the other side of the power cord. Id the control or compressor relay is open then she won't freeze. All the parts to it are listed HERE.
From the list I see an overload for the compressor. If that one is open it won't freeze. Bypass the temp control wires to see if she runs.

I have a Danby DCF520W Chest freezer. the compressor runs and the contents freeze but the outside case stays hot all the time. After a couple of days the freezer shuts down and has to be unplugged before...

your freezer may be overheating due to the defrost for the freezer door, (mullan heater) is staying on. Most likely the door is not sealing properly. Also if it has a power saver switch on the side select it to that.

I moved my freezer and now will only stay cold for a short time, why?

You jard the liquids. Did you just move it a little or move like to another house because if you move a frig or freezer somewhere or lay on it's side you shouldn't plug in for an hour or more so it all settles or it won't work. Hope this helped

Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work

Plugged in chest freezer is cooling inside but hot to touch on the outside

yup, if you make cold theres gonna be heat. they run the lines through the case for cooling. it will get usually warm so maybe cause it's running alot to get cool initially. then it should normalize. if after a day it's still pretty hot, then it may be an old freezer and the compressor may be wearing out slowly, pumping slower and causing more heat.

Running non stop!

Sadly these old freezers use way too much electricity. You will be better off junking this one and purchasing a good used or brand new one.

New chest freezer not getting cold

I am having the same problem. How long did it take?
I bought mine second hand and think it may be broken. I plugged it in 8 hours ago. I can hear it running but it's not cold yet.

Freezer is freezing but the outer wall are extremly hot

This is a normal condition.  The condensor coils are in the cabinet and their job is to remove heat which is why it is hot.  You will want to make sure the freezer isn't in a tight spot where air from the room can't flow across it.  Without good air flow it will become too hot and not cool properly and lead to the compressor failing too soon.
