I look at the A.O. Smith Motor Master University manual and my question concerns the diagram on page 50, Single Phase Motor. In need to operate my motor with 115V and my understanding of the diagram is that I need to move the Black Tracker wire, from the capacitor, from Term B to Term A and the Black wire from Term A to Term L1. All otther wires stay the same: the Purple wire on Terminal A, the White wire on Term L1 and the Blue wire on Term1. Is this correct? To have both white and black wires on Term L1 and both Black Tracker and Purple on Term A. Nothing on Term B!!!. Any HELP?

That is correct...if you have done that and still have problems post a comment that includes a description of what is happening and the motor model and serial number for further assistance.

How to change a 3 phase to single phase motor

You cannot change a 3 phase motor into a single phase motor because the windings are different in these motors. You need to buy a single phase motor to replace the 3 phase motor.

I need a three phase wiring diagram for 8145-20 model timer.

8145-20 240Volt Paragon timer is not 3-phase.
Clock motor is 240V.
You need a transformer to convert 3-phase to single phase 240V to operate timer.
Then timer outputs can control 3-phase power using 3-phase contactors
Contactor below is 3 phase with 240V coil

You cannot wire a three phase motor for single phase and you cannot wire a single phase motor for three phase. If you have a three phase dual voltage motor your options are 220 or 440 volts. If you have a single phase dual voltage motor your options are 120 or 240 volts. A 208 volt Hobart motor will only function correctly on 208 volts and is not dual voltage.

Need to replace back half of a.o smith pool motoer

Do you mean A.O. Smith motor? This is the back half of
the Pool Pump. A.O. Smith motors are the most common motor drive for household pumps, so I believe
that you can easily find the replacement. Just specify
the horsepower (HP) rating, voltage: 220/110, single
phase or three phase. Just send your e-mail comment
for more info. God bless you.

Wiring a 220v single phase motor and capacitor

Black and white are usually power. an ohmmeter will confirm. Brown are for capacitors. There is almost always a diagram on the motor someplace. Eric
