Two things to remember. If you're connected through the handset jack, the handset (receiver) needs to be lifted off the phone to get a dial tone. Secondly, if you're connected through the headset jack, you may need to adjust the configuration dial (round dial on left-hand side of base) to make it work when the headset button on phone is pushed.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

I replaced my desk phone with a wireless and I lost dialtone on all the phones

Are you saying you have a wireless desk cell telephone? Or is this a regular land line telephone with a wireless hand piece? If it is a cell phone with no dial tone, you must see your service provider - this is HIGHLY unusual. If this is a land line telephone with a wireless hand piece - be aware that the dial tone cones from your base transmitter, where ever it is located, (Normally this base should be withing 300 feet of the hand piece) and that base unit MUST be plugged into an active telephone outlet. In the USA, the standard jack is an RJ 11. I suggest you take your old telephone and plug into the outlet where your new base unit is located. Do you get a dial tone? (proves the line is good) Check all wiring - same type of contacts (for your country)? Still no dial tone? Take it back to the store and get them to demonstrate its operation for you - does it work at their store? ... if not, get a new telephone or an adjustment.

You cant here the dialing ton when calling someone

Hi, when you try to call and you don't hear a dial tone,is because the ear piece that makes you hear some one calls you is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Usually gets damaged by itself and to replace the earpiece, you will need to disassemble the phone to be able to replace the hear piece.

The earpiece is located atthe top head of all phones. And is easily to locate.
When you replace the earpiece you cannowhear the dial tone on your phone.

Thanks for using fixya.,.
