There are no f-35 codes for the duet series washer....

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

Yes there are f 35 codes on the duet steam washer.. the service buletin in the lower compartment of the washer says that it is a analog pressure sensor failure or any malfunction of the steamer component.. even if we don't use the steam function, it makes the washer shut down

i am wondering ifit is just a bad circuit board?

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

I see. You didn't post a valid model number so i couldn't actually tell which unit you had. Ok, what is your model number?

I need the entire model number so I can post the correct part number. it is not the CCU. That is ok. No issues there...

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

it is the WFW9500TW01 model #

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

    serial # CSW1609372

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

i just removed the part in under 5 minutes by taking the top off only. It is tucked right under the top of the washer on the right hand side if you are facing the front. No need to remove the rear panel at all, there is more than enough space to do what you need to do from the top

Thanks. Ok, the only part that is of importance will be the actual analog pressure sensor switch. You will only need to replace this part. This part fails in most duet sport(Steamers) models of this nature. It is mounted just next to the Electronic board that is located and mounted on the inside of the washer cabinet. The drum must be removed to access it and the top/front panel, as well. I will post the links to the diagram and part number for the part, below. The actual part that will need to be replace will be labeled number 20 on the diagram provided below.

    Correction:

You may be able to access the switch by just simply removing the rear access cover. This switch is very close to the rear access cover(Top Left Corner When Facing the rear of the unit). Try to reach it that way. It may not be necessary to disassemble the entire unit.

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

Actually it is acessible from just removing the top of the washer. Thanks

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

This should be possible, as well. I would remove the top and rear access panel to insure proper working space.

  • Anonymous Aug 24, 2010

Good deal; I'll update my notes to reflect that replacement procedure.

Kenmore elite front load washer model 46752701 after replacing pressure control switch i still get f35 code

Most common cause for the F35 error code: Using non-HE detergent. Detergent slime builds up in the hose, eventually getting into the analog pressure switch and killing it. Make sure you flush out as much soap as possible and make sure to use HE soap or it can keep occurring, also some vinger can calm down the suds

Whirlpool front load washer keeps flashing F35 code

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Trouble code f35

The problem is likely the analog water level switch is failing. A pretty common problem in this machine. Before replace check the hose that goes to it for any blockage. If the hose is not plugged up the switch will need replaacing. Not a cheap part either but easy to replace. It is a small square block with wires and a hose going to it located under the top cover panel. For diagrams and illustrations enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com

Error code F35

The F35 indicates that the main control board detects a problem with the analog pressure sensor (water level pressure switch) in the washer. This component senses and controls water level in the washer. This failure could be caused by a pinched or broken air hose between the air trap at the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. It can also be caused by a clogged air trap or a failed analog pressure sensor. If you are able to unplug the washer and pull off the top panel, you can check for the probable cause of this failure.

To remove the top panel, remove the screws on the very back of the panel that secure it to the washer cabinet. Pull the top panel back slightly and then and off of the washer. It is on the side wall just behind the expansion control board. You can check the air pressure hose connection and the wire harness connection on this component.

This component costs around $99.This information was based on the general description of the washer model that you provided (Kenmore Elite front load washer). There are several different models of this washer. I am not aware of other uses of the F35 code on the various models. If you intend to diagnose and repair this problem yourself, I recommend resubmitting your question with the full model number of your Kenmore washer so that we can verify this technical information using your model number.
