Try this code *#7780# it's for restoring the setting in a soft way. (selecting 'settings only will reset all preference settings. Restoring will not delete any personal data. After restoring, the phone will restart)
where as *#7370# it's for hard way (lets you restore settings and delete personal data. You will not be able to use or switch off the phone during the restore, even for emergencies Restoring may take several minutes. After restoring, the phone will restart)
And if this is not working or helping you than refer to the nearest mobile service centre for FLASHING.

make sure that the mms and gprs feature of your phone is activated. and if your a prepaid plan, make sure you have enough load cause once you received an mms or an mms is comming, the gprs will automatically activated to download the message.

you have to contact the vodacom store for it. when you entered wrong key more than three times it gets locked from the company.

Here's a quick tip on how to activate your phone's Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings if you're with the Smart network:
Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:
To download SMART MMS phone settings:
Key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings:
Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.
Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"
To activate SMART GPRS:
Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′
To activate SMART MMS:
Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′
Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.
Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated

In order to activate MMS settings you are required to call your vodacom customer care and ask them what sms you have to send in order to receive mms settings. Once you get the settings save them on your phone and make it default settings. Switch off your mobile take out your sim for 02 minutes and restart your mobile with sim inside it. Now you are ready for sending or receiving mms.

Normally it is your service provider who will send you the settings for WAp and MMS. Once you receive these, you need to save them as advised and you should be able to use both functions.

After flashing my ROM I had to manually enter this information. It populated on it's own, the information was incorrect.

hi there only your service provider can give you the settings of your MMS and GPRS. call your service provider and tell them that you want a settings of MMS and GPRS and they'll send you the setting then save. now you can send and recieve pic. via MMS and can download fav. pics. and tones via GPRS. ok!

MMS messages are transmitted via the Voice and Data networks of your service provider. When you receive notification of a new MMS, this is through the Voice network, and requires no specific configuration. In order to download and view the message, you must have the correct settings for the Data connection with your service provider. Vodacom's network settings vary depending on your cellular plan setup. You should contact Vodacom for instructions on setting up your device for Data based connections.
