1. Insufficient RAM (memory) - if your computer has less than 512Mb of RAM then increase it to at least 1Gb of RAM.
2. Registry problems - clean and repair the registry, it will contain unused registry keys. Use programs such as Registry Mechanic, Microsoft RegClean etc.
3. Uninstall/remove unused programs, this will also free up hard disk space.
4. Not enough hard disk space - swap file space may need to be increased if Windows hasn't been configured to manage it.
5. Install latest Windows updates.
6. Update virus definition files and scan computer for viruses, Trojans, malware etc.
7. Clear the Internet cache for faster browsing.
8. Hard disk maintenance is required at least once a month to keep it functioning efficiently.
Run the following programs -
Disk Cleanup - removes temporary files that are no longer used and to recovers hard disk space.
Disk Defragmenter to make fragmented files into contiguous files and therefore the hard disk access is faster.

Not enough memory

If you have low memory (RAM) then install more RAM.
If you have low memory (hard disk space) the delete unwanted data files and uninstall unwanted programs.
ALSO
Carry out HARD DISK MAINTENANCE
Hard disk maintenance should be carried once a month to make your computer run efficiently. This removes redundant and temporary files, recovers disk space and speed up hard disk access. Disk Cleanup should be done first - Click My Computer - then right click on the C drive then click Properties, then click Disk Cleanup - let it examine the C drive then it will calculate the amount of disk space it will recover, tick all the boxes to recover the maximum disk space and then Click OK and then Yes to perform these actions. If you have a D drive then repeat these steps on this drive too. Next the C drive needs to be Defrag. This process converts fragmented files into continuous files and this speeds up disk access and makes the hard disk not work as hard. Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter - click to highlight the C drive and click Analyse - then click Defragment. When this is completed repeat these steps for the D Drive if you have a D drive. Disk Cleanup and Defrag can take a long time to complete, especially if these tasks have not been for a long time.

My son has been playing on gran turismo 5 and suddenly the ps3 is saying there is not enough space on the hard drive. Despite deleting data it is still saying the same thing. Error message is...

The message should tell you exactly how much free space you need to free up on your hard drive. GT5 takes up an atrocious amount of hard disk space, and it just gets worse with each new patch. How much hard disk space do you currently have free?

I have a pinnacle dazzle converter, but when i record a movie it will only allow me to record up to 103 mins. why is that?

May be you don't have enough free hard disk space. Increase the free hard disk space and check.
All the best!

Too small capacity

Depends on what you are using the hard drive for. For example if this hard drive is going to be used for multimedia then I would recommend a hard drive around 120Gb to 1TB, but if it's for a small office with MS Windows XP installed it should be just enough to host the operating system and a limited amount of programs, hope this help, best of luck

1. Using the EPSON Scan software, edit the settings to see where the program is trying to save the file.

2. Might as well check what file type is the program currently is set to save.
