The belt has broken on my Proform 585 Treadmill. Who can I ask to come and repair it?

Sounds like your keypad is bad. If you want to replace it try a google search or the MFG. They are usually higher priced but best option to find keypad.

1) lUBE THE deck belt vs deck, this produce shut down for to protect the treadmill in your electronic system
2) lUBE The rollers bearing very well.
3) Measure the input voltage motor , if there are voltage, the motor need repair.
4)Measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.

If you had the speakers working before, and now dont........you can take the console off and hope to find a broken wire or disconnected somehow, but you might check into a new console. All of the components run into a circuit board, and the speakers are most likley OK, it the board that freaked out.

The belt is adjusted at the rear of the treadmill, On both rear corners there are plastic covers with holes in them. You should have a allen wrench that came with the machine. You turn the screw clockwise to tighten, it should feel snug. Next start the treadmill and watch the belt, it will go to one side or the other. To center the belt, you need to tighten the side that the belt is CLOSEST to. Turn it only half a turn at a time until watching it moving, it stays in the center.

You should not have to do this often, The manual says about 1.5 inches of deflection t the edges of the belt. Tight is good.
