Resetting a Toshiba BIOS Password
Download (Keydisk) http://www.cgsecurity.org/keydisk.exe will reset the BIOS password on Toshiba laptops.

Can be reset using the Key Disk.exe utility, to do this you need a 1.44Mb floppy disk. Format the disk using Windows and then with a hex editor, change the first five bytes of the second sector to 4B 45 59 00 00.

Then put the floppy into your machine and boot it up, you'll be asked for a password, just press Enter. Then when you're asked to set the password, type Y then Enter, this will get you into the bios configuration where you can then type in a new password.

How to factory reset a Toshiba laptop

On a Laptop, it isn't a 'Reset', it is a Reformat. You will need the operating system CD or it may be on a hidden partition.

Toshiba dynabook laptop

If the unit stops at the manufacturer boot screen, you may have a hardware failure. I'd suspect the hard drive first. The easier thing to check would be the memory, though memory issues are usually accompanied by a beep code. If the memory and hard drive are both ok, you might have a motherboard problem.

My toshiba dynabook AX/53c laptop is unable to read memory card such as mini sd , memory stick dou

Right click "My Computer" and click "manage", then on the right side click "device manager" then look to see if any devices are flagged. You may have to install the driver for the card reader which can be found on toshiba's website. Toshiba.com go to support then tech support and select your model.

Audio problem on toshiba dynabook 2550S

Have you tried reinstalling your drivers? Try connecting some external speakers to the headphone jack and see if it works? If it does the speakers on the laptop are gone, if not the sound card is indeed not working. Do you have a speaker icon in your system tray by the clock?
