This one is going to sound silly!! I've suffered a major computer crash and had to buy a new box. I'm still reloading all my old software including PicProject. However, I can only seem to get Japanese instructions. No good to me! Help>>> I seem to remember having a similar problem the first time I loaded it,and a kind tech at your place gave me the answer then but it's been lost in the mist of time. I'm using a Nikon D40 regicterd with you a few years back and PictureProject 1.7 which came with the kit. I have two dics: 1. PictureProject 1.7 for Windows/Mac PCs labeled JPN**** and 2. PP Reference Manual. Can you give me some help in getting going again. Just taken pics of new grandchild and need to send to all relatives ASAP. Many thanks in advance

The two "whirring" noises that you hear on power up is normal. The beauty of having a new macbook is you can reinstall the software very easily and a fresh install should fix your problem. Put the disk that came with the machine into the disk drive and turn the computer off. Turn it back on and press and HOLD the "alt" button until you are given the option of booting from your hard drive or your disk. Choose the disk and when it boots up, FIRST go to disk utility and verify the hard drive. If it comes back with no problems, proceed with the fresh install of the system by following the prompts on the disk.

I don't quite follow the problem but, you have a low end card and maybe the game is too demanding for it. Are you having problems with crashing? Have you updated your driver? You can update the driver here:

No. The camera has no capability to record sound onto the memory card. You can add a soundtrack using video editing software on a computer. You just can't use the ViviCam to record sound.

Acer Aspire 5535-6608 crashing
This problem is due to a failing hard drive I believe. When the virus scan is working you get a clicking sound then it crashes. Clicking sounds from your laptop while running scans on the hard drive are bad. The first thing to do is to get your irreplaceable files backed up then contact a service professional to get the drive replaced. If it is a reputable service person they should be able to clone the drive over to a new drive with no major issues. Be sure to insist on your old drive back. Even though it may have issues, my guess is that you still have personal information you would not want someone else to get hold of.
