Judging on your symptoms, it sounds like a replacement keyboard might be in order. If the machine is out of warranty, you can purchase replacement keyboards yourself.
Search "(computer model) keyboard" into eBay. You should see many products available for a reasonable price.
You should have a screw or two on the bottom of your laptop that have a keyboard icon next to them. Removing these screws should allow you pop the keyboard out and replace it. There is also a ribbon cable under there, so be careful when removing. For more info, search "replace (computer model) keyboard" in YouTube or a similar site. There should be many tutorials on keyboard replacement.
