Hello, I have an HP Officejet Pro L7680 all-in-one and I am able to print with all the other colors except black. Any think in black doesn't print at all. Please can I know what is happening? I've equally tried to align the print heads and it says alignment failed. Waiting for your solution. Thanks, Etienne.

are you using hp original cartridges? if not, then thats probably the issue!

I also faced the same problem. You can try the following steps to fix this issue:
- Check ink cartridge
- Reset your printer
- Clean print-heads
- Check the printer's color option

Replace the black ink.

Try cleaning the print heads. Or replace the two colors it's asking for magenta and cyan.

It sounds like your printer setup has changed to generating black by MIXING the color inks... if you run out of the cyan and yellow it will do red in spite of how many changes you make of the black cartridge.

Investigate the setup for the printer to make sure it is set for black from the black cartridge.

If you print primarily black, your black/yellow printhead may have worn out and needs to be replaced. Go to start, printers and faxes, select the L7680 and then select properties. Print a test page and run the troubleshooter to clean the nozzles and lines. If it's not the nozzles or lines, search for C9381A on google and purchase a new printhead it should be about $70.

Try to reinstall your printer.

Check your black cartridge if they are installed properly.

Replace your black cartridge with a new one.

This is an issue of your printer settings.Uninstall the printer drivers and the software provided by Hp and reinstall it.It will do the job...
