We purchased a navman S80 which we could also use as a hands free for the lg tu500. We have paired the 2 together using the bluetooth connection which went without any problems. Unfortunetly when we try to tranfers the phone book from the phone to the navman using bluetooth, the phone displays a message saying that the bt is already being used, and wont tranfer the information, any ideas on what we are doing wrong or havent done. Thanks

Hi, I have same problem with 2 of my Nokia's. My latest Nokia 6600 slide does the same also. Navman sell these GPS's to do this job (look at most advertising) but I'm 15 months down the track. I'm thinking of selling it and going to TomTom unless anyone can help.

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile. send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code. IF Problem not Solved So Please New Software install in the Phone Problem will Solved
Make a call to fido and asking them for a LG TU500 unlock code, they will ask your reason why you need that unlock code and takes some charge for that unlock code. Cost may vary depends on your mobile phones model approximately $60-$80. But you can get lg unlock code with less price from third party sites.
I've got MY65T working on an iPhone 3GS. I previously had the problem where it would pair and retrieve phone book, but not transmit or receive voice from my iPhone when making a call.
The last thing I did that fixed it was to remove the bluetooth pairings and "reinstall software on your navman". I don't know if this may remove some of your settings / POI / etc. This was a new purchase so I didn't have anything to lose.
Before doing this I had upgraded the navdesk software to 7.30, and installed the latest firmware for MY65T. Firmware is located at http://www.navmansupport.com.au/Software/My%20Series/MY65T/MY250___352.htm
Details: -remove the phone bluetooth pairing from the Navman from Settings / Bluetooth / My Paired Devices / [your phone] / delete -remove the bluetooth pairing from your phone's settings -connect navman to PC and launch navdesk -click "My Navman" / "Reinstall software on your Navman" -download the install file if prompted -accept the reinstallation prompts and complete reinstallation -set your phone to discoverable over bluetooth (just keep it on the Bluetooth settings screen on iPhone) -go to Settings / Bluetooth /" Search new devices" on your Navman -click your phone's name on the navman's discovered devices -enter the PIN onto your phone when prompted and accept the pairing. This takes a little while. -test handsfree!
hello, the only person to unlock the phone for you freely is your service provider, all you need to do is just to call them and give them your mobile number and imei number.there are no free codes available for it now.
No one can give you free lg tu500 unlock code unless you describe your carrier network and your phone imei number. To generate lg unlock code, carrier information and imei number is needed since one single phone has one unlock code.
what are you really trying to do? download photos stored in your tu500 phone to a computer or PC? If so..then I think I could help. The easiest way is send it to your active email address using your phone browser and download the attachments form your e-address to your Pc...else use the Bluetooth of your phone, partnered with a USB Bluetooth dongle inserted to the USB port of your PC or the Infared service of your phone, partnered with USB Infrared Cable...4rd option is using a USB Data cable for tu500 which will be attached to your phone and the other end is in the USB port of your PC, but is more complicated. I wish i have help you with this, a rating according to the obtain benefits by you will be much appreciated. Tnx!
I suggest reducing the size of the SD card to a 512mb and you should have no problem. There have been problems with the 1GB for these phones and I mhave 2 of these phones and they both have 512mb with no problem any larger and they keep giving error messages
