Is it a usb, ps2 or wireless keyboard? your keyboard doesn't require a driver since it is a plug and play device.
If you're using a usb or wireless keyboard, then might as well update the chipset driver of your computer. If updating the chipset driver fails, they try your computer on a difference computer to see if there's a problem with your keyboard already. If another keyboard works fine with your computer then it means to say that the computer is working fine.
If you're using a wireless keyboard, changing the battery helps.

You can download the driver here. However, it is not compatible with some newer CAC Cards especially with Vista. If you install the driver and it won't read, you need a new reader. Sorry.
