DT92E room stat appears to be very inacurate with its room tempreture, our normal room temp is about 22c we have to set the stat at 25c to get heat and the stat cuts out after a temp rise of 1c

All thermostat is calibrated @ difference of 2 degree.to cut in and cut off.
In heat mode, if you keep 25 and your room temp 23. it will start at the end of 24 or beginning of 25 degree.Cut off also @27 degree beginning. Please check Tips & how to do's in Fixya

Unit comes on and shut off correctly but dosen't heat and cool home equally. Blows cold air in winter and doesn't cool home properly in summer.

Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RV.If it's with heatingelement check power to element. If power is there but still no heat meanselement defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks. To get proper cool, keep the tips as follows:
1. Check air filter is cleaned. 2. Check indoor coil is cleaned. 3. Checkindoor blower motor is working. 4. Keep in cool mode. 5. Set temp minimum 3degrees less than room temp.6.Check compressor is working with correctpressure.
Thanks. Helpful?

DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG. OUR POWER BILL LAST YEAR WAS 211.00 AND KNOW WITH THISE BILL IS 678.00. IT IS H EATING AN 18X23 ROOM. THE SETTING FOR TEMP. IS ON 72 DEGREES. THIS THING HAS RUN OUR BILL UP...

Simple way to pay less bill with big comfort.
Tips for it: To get proper cold air set temp 23 degree and mode"cool". To get heat set temp 30 degree and mode in "Heat" Clean indoor and out door periodically ( Once in 4 months) Clean Air filter every fortnightly. Avoid frequent opening of the door where it's air conditioned. Avoid keep closing the doors even a/c is switch off. It helps to cool the room next times in short minutes. Use proper breaker, wiring for your air conditioner plug points. Make sure your elect meter is working properly.Check your Elect meter with 1000watts bulb for one hour. It should consume one unit only. Hope, it's helpful.

My rv air condition also has heat, the heat in it is not getting very warm. So days it will burn u out of it and some days it just blows cool air! Any suggestions. It is a dometic

Check the following if you're unit is not giving heat.
1. Keep temp setting +8 degree from your room temp 2. Keep mode in "Heat". And check the click sound in RV when you turn to heat mode. If one failed out of three your unit will not supply heat.

Carrier heat pump: aux heat does not seem to work

The unit is probably to small for theare you are trying to heat.

When the Aux HT light came on that meant the heat pump could not keep up with the demand for heat. (Probably due to extreme cold, or undersized unit.)

If yu have heat, then at least one heat strip is operating. If you have multiple heatstrips, one or more could be malfuncioning.

Or it could simpy be to cold/to small fr your area and not able to keep up.

How many square foot are you trying to heat?
What is the outside temp?
What is the inside temp?
What size unit (BTU output) do you have?
