Unfortunatly when the screen is broken it costs about as much as a new tv to replace. I paid 1600 for an LCD and my daughter broke it. I would have cost 1200 to replace the lcd panel. So I just bought a new TV. For you new TV pick up a product called TV Armor. Its a TV screen protector designe d to stop objects from breaking the TV screen. http://www.tv-armor.com . I bought one a few weeks ago and now I can finally relax when she is playing near the TV.

Plasma tv bad picture - something thrown at screen

Not worth fixing,if LCD,Plasma,DLP screen pannels is damage or broken only worth as salvage electronics boards parts.Because the tv corporations produced it limited LCD,Plasma or DLP screen pannels.They're the only one able to sell u the screen pannels,but they will sell it to u same as a new tv,might even cost more after the Plasma screen part is put in.Because of the labors.

The answer is simple to this one....NO!

This is the main problem with LCD TV's when the screen is cracked a replacement screen will cost more than a new set.

Your only cure is a new TV!
