The amber light with the triangle next to it is flashing please help!!!

Don't you just love HP? Since your machine is no longer under warranty they will not help you.

Best bet is to replace or jump the cartridge door switch and see what happens. My guess is that it is stuck.

Hi the DTC is dynamic traction control. If the light is on constantly you need to get the car diagnosed. It could be a wheel sensor. If it only flashes occasionally it indicates wheel spin. Hope this helps. Jim...

Solid light all the time - Check the system hasn't been turned off (switch near gearlever). If not, proceed with caution to your Volkswagen dealer
Light flashing sometimes when driving - This indicates the wheels are spinning and the traction system is trying to control. Reduce acceleration.

As you give print command check what is the error msg flashes on ur PC.
Next check whether any paper piece is jammed inside the printer, dust it with Airblower so that cleans out.
Third check the ink levels in both color and black cartdriges.

There is an issue with the media/paper. First thing is to make sure there is paper, and if so, that it's touching the intake rollers. Next is to check for jams, which are usually under the imaging drum. Open the front lid and remove the drum (it's in the front; follow the directions shown on the label on the front right.) Also, check for jams where the paper exits the printer.

Final two things. The lid could be ajar - simply push down firmly to ensure all the contact switches are closed. The last thing is an issue with the fuser, which may require replacing it. I highly recommend getting the service manual from HP, as it is easy to follow and has extensive troubleshooting.

The Amber light is designated as the "Ink Error" light. With regards to a Hewlett Packard printer, the Amber light is indicating that one of the Ink Cartridges (Tri-Color/Black) is empty, defective, unrecognizable, or just simply needs to be changed. The procedure is; lift up the front cover, look at the Black Ink Cartridge, and examine the Ink Level Window on the Cartridge, located at the center of the Cartridge. If the square window appears to be a solid Green then that means the cartridge is completely full. If it is Half Green/Half Black then it is indicating that the cartridge is half way full, and if the square window is completely Black, then the cartridge is completely empty. Also, remove and examine the Tri-Color Cartridge. If the Tri-Color Cartridge feels very light or if the Tri Colors on the bottom of the Cartridge appear to be discolored i.e. All Magenta, All Cyan, or All Yellow, then the Cartridge should immediately be changed. After replacing the Black or Tri-Color Cartridge, your printers Green Power Light will flash and allow you to continue your print job
You can also try:
Clean the cartridge and carriage contacts with a cotton swab moistened with water. If you have refilled the cartridges don't assume that they will still work. If cleaning doesn't help you may have a failed cartridge even if it is not refilled.
If you are getting a grinding noise, clean the carriage rod with alcohol and lubricate it with a few drops of Tri-Flow, available in 2 oz. squeeze bottles at cycle shops.
