How to upgrade the memory and what is the Maximum available memory card for this unit?

The unit has both built in memory + a slot available for 12800 Ram modules.

You may get more information by posting this in the Computers forum - this one is for camcorders and video cameras.

Sony specs say:

• Maximum Memory: 1024MB
• Slots: 2 (2 banks of 1)
• Standard Memory: 512MB removable

The camera can take whichever capacity card your want. Type 1 and 2 CF cards up to and past 16GB are available. It is really what you can afford and how many frames you want to put on a single card before downloading it.

2GB is the maximum amount of ram you can install in your Dimension 2400. Depending on how much ram you have in it now,.. you could get a substantial speed difference by upgrading. You can upgrade the video card if you want. If you want to upgrade to 2 GB and upgrade to a decent vid card,.. you are looking at about $180 for parts. you will need to determine if that is something you want to put into the 2400 or buy a new computer with substantial speed and performance difference for about $500 from Dell. if its maximum capacity of the Palm Treo 700w... is 700wx you cannot use any memory card beyond that because it hang the programms,bt if its maximum capacity is beyond that then you can add 8gb memory card.

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.
