Check filter is a setpoint left in the program of the thermostat it does not effect the thermostat peformance check carriers web site or google that number may come up but that reminder does not effect the function .

I have Carrier thermostat that we lost manual for. Model is 960-060170-30-R. We are trying to get the fan from permantly running to auto position. Any help would be great or a link to the manual

I believe that is the edge tstat and what Im finding is you can only control the fan when your not running a program. if you have occupied and unoccupied settings it may be under a business program rather than residential. Google the edge manual and follow steps to remove the programming. Good Luck!!

Carrier OEM to Honeywell Programmable Tstat - NEED HELP

you likely have a "two stage" system, but not a two stage heat pump. the first stage is probably the heat pump itself, and the second stage is the auxilliary resistance heat that suppliments the heat pump at lower temps. if i knew the terminals that are available on the new stat, i could advise you on the proper wiring.
