There is a kit from Metra called the Metra 99-3303 kit that takes the double din area of the stock stereo and converts it into an info center/single din. Cost is about $123 on ebay.

Why is the display on my car stereo not working in my 2010 Pontiac G6

The tiny display bulb is burned out, you must remove the radio and have the bulb replaced, it is soldered to the circuit board and it takes special tools and skill to replace it.

After changing the battery on my 2005 Pontiac G6 the radio will not display anything. Not even the

did you hook the cables up backwards (ground to positive) as this could short out your electronics. are there any other electronic issues. if you didnt and everything else is ok you radio may have an anti-theft program. you can try disconnecting the ground connection to the battery for about 30 secs and reconnecting it. if it still doesnt work look in your owners manual how to reset the computer also check your fuses.. if all fails you may need to get the radio reprogrammed good luck

Car will not start after I pulled the fuse for my radio

Thats because on the G6 your entire control center and brain of your car is ran through your radio. Without the fuse to your radio, there is no current getting to the controllers for the G6's quick click auto start feature. The G6 does not use a regular starter cylinoid like most cars older than 2004-2005. The controlling signal of starting your car when you click your key over for that split second is run through systems housed and integrated in the radio.
