When im trying play online and click find game it sits on "downloading game settings" screen forever and wont go past it. it doesnt freeze on it it just doesnt go forward.

This is a problem between your cellphone provider and your phone. The phones set up may not have been done correctly. Contact your provider so they can correct these settings.
i have the same problem with my ps3 im runing my internet over my laptop with an htc hero. i get the internet runing and i can use my netflix wathch movies but when i try to play a game online it freezes and logs me out of playstation network. sucks!

I believe your device is overheating, you need to make sure that the Dreamcast is well ventilated, don't set it on a carpet or enclosure. BLow any dust from the unit, pull the Dreamcast out of whatever nook it is sitting in, and set it on a flat surface like a hard cover book, etc. See if your issues resolve themselves.
try deleteing game firmware once online it will re download firmware v130 this game was hacked so try re downloading it my psn is manhunter707 so look me up
It's the Call of Duty 4 Servers from uploading the Map Pack. Their are alot of players That have downloaded it recently, and it is lagging their Servers. If you just wait a little bit, the problem should be fixed and all set to go.
bet you are playing on a slim, turn of the umd cache in system settings then the problem stops perhaps the game (driver 76) doesnt support the umd cache system using the extra ram in the psp slim
