I was given this machine so my children could do homework and the like, Its running Windows 98, I have a SCSI zip drive that I would like to use on it but the system does not recognise it. Also want to add a HD sort of now how but your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your attention.

You would need a PCI SCSI (Small Scale Systems Intergration) PCI card to fit into the PCI slot for the SCSI device(Zip Driver) to connect to.
As far as another hard drive it usually requires only a two connector ribbon cable to go to another hard driver and have the BIOS setup screen tell which is the bootdrive and which is the extra and what order to boot in. Usually; First the OS hard driver, then the floppy or CD. Place the extra hard driver last as their is wil be no no way to boot from it. Hope this helps.
