LXIH, ML #130017

Unit turns on, fills, and washes properly but immediately after the rinse cycle the display fully lights up and count up (11, 22, 33, etc) occurs followed by Pd, because the sump still has water in it, and then it starts the fill cycle as if it was just turned on, then when it times out it is ready to go. replaced relay board, control board and membrane switch (which i thought would take care of the problem) still doing the same thing...any help would be greatly appreciated as i am at my wits end !

I have not had a chance to look yet but staff say my LXiH ML-130017 is leaking SOAP out the front of the sanitizer. My first thought is someone put extra soap in the unit. What do you think??

It's possible that someone may have added too much soap to the unit, causing it to leak out of the sanitizer. However, there could also be other causes for the leak, such as a damaged or worn gasket, seal or valve. To determine the exact cause of the problem, you will need to inspect the unit and perform any necessary repairs or adjustments. It may be helpful to refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific guidance on troubleshooting and repairing the sanitizer.

I have Hobard LXIH dishwasher, it is working OK but during rinse cycle instead of taking in rinse agent it is actually fill rinse bottle back with water. Rinse pump is working, it was replaced in June

Check the rinse pump. The tubing needs to come from the supply into the bottom of the pump, and the pump should be running clockwise. If the pump tube is worn, the rinse pressure will blow through the pump filling the bottle

There is a temp booster on that unit. A rinse temp of 190 is not out of the range of specifications. If it is too hot, you should adjust the incoming water temp

Hobart LXIH stuck in Wash mode after running multiple loads. Shutting off breaker for several hours fixes problem until multiple loads have been run again and then it is once more stuck in Wash mode.

How long does it stay in the wash cycle? Indefinitely? Does the display continuously show "WASH"?. If it stays in the wash cycle indefinitely (i.e. continuously shows "WASH" for significantly beyond approx. 3 minutes), it's probably a control board malfunction. If it continues to wash after the "WASH" indicator goes out, it could be a shorted wash motor relay on the relay board or a fauly control board.

If the internal rinse water booster heater doesn't reach it's programmed setpoint temperature in time, the dishwasher will run an extended wash cycle to give the booster heater more time to finish heating the rinse water. If this is what's happening, the wash cycle would last approximately 3 minutes, then it would rinse regardless of whether the booster heater has finished heating or not.

The booster temperature thermistor may be bad, giving a false booster temperature reading, causing an extended wash cycle as described above. The booster heater elements or contactor may be bad, preventing the booster heater from heating and reaching proper temperature, also causing the same extended wash cycle to give the booster more time to heat.

The hobart lxih is stuck in delime.

To reset or clear delime message, on control board there are 3 buttons. from power off, drawer open, manget on door switch, door closed, hold PROG on board and press the ON key on keyboard. pressing select moves to next poption, up arrow increases setting. step through select until you see delime, settings for LXi are de for disabled, and 1 through 65= x100 cycles. rg if set at 5, after 500 cycles the message apears. To keep the settings and clear the message a delime sequence needs to be run precisely as described.

DO NOT MIX DELIME ACID, RINSE AGENTS OR OTHER ACID WITH BLEACH PRODUCTS, OR HAZAEDOUS GASES WILL FORM.

With machine off, remove rack , close door, press and hold wash/delime key and press ON. Delime will be lit on display, release wash/delime key, and let machine fill. you should then see ADD and DELIME on the display, open the door and add the delime agent following supplier's instructions precisely. close the door, press wash, delime will flash. After delime is complete power is turned off. Inspect the machine and repeat if necessary.
DO NOT LEAVE THE ACID IN ANY LONGER THAN RECOMMEDED.

Cold water will not stop filling during rinse

while the unit is filling in the warm cycle. reach behind and shut off the hot water tap.I bet the water flow stops filling, if so, you would need to change the inlet valve on the machine. You see, in warm, if the cold is not filling, you still hear the hot filling and the unit will advance. The rinse cycles are mostly "cold" only. if the valve is not opening it will not allow it to advance from the rinse section on the board.

Good luck!

E-43 still after a new control board

Try holding the start/pause and cancel key together for 3 seconds. The door lock, wash, rinse and final spin lights should light. Any error codes should be displayed when holding those keys.
