My headset got wet with sweat and i think that the battery shorted out. It now only works when plugged in. I have 2 other sony ericsson bluetooth headsets that were inundated during the great flood brought about by typhoone ketsana in the philippines. sony ericsson service centers here in the philippines don't service such devices, they only accept replacements under warranty. Could you suggest somewhere, anywhere, i can have it serviced and repaired. thanks.

Try wrapping it in a towel placing it in the freezer for a few days, move it to the fridge for a day and then out in the partial sun, like a windowsill for a day or two, this will help pull out the moisture that is deep in the unit, it's worth a try. best of luck

Hold down the volume buttons on the side till the button on the front turns red. Then try to pair, your phone should find it right away...put in 0000 and push connect on your phone. I just paired it with my iphone.

Hi,
If you have lost the pairing on your phone with the headset follow these simple steps below:
• Setting the headset into pairing mode
1) Ensure the headset is fully charged
2) The headset must be switch off
3) Press and hold the on button for +- 8 seconds until the light flashes red-blue
4) The headset is now in pairing mode
• Searching for the headset on the phone
1) Go to “settings” or “connections”
2) Select Bluetooth, then options
3) Select Devices and click add
4) The phone should search for any available Bluetooth devices and display what was found
5) Select the Motorola device and click add
6) You will be required to enter in a pass code which is standard ‘0000’.
7) If successful then the headset will start flashing BLUE every few seconds.
8) If it’s a Samsung or Nokia phone you will need to “AUTHORIZE” headset on the device.
• The headset is now paired with the phone

Hope this helps

LOST PASSWORD FOR SONY ERICSSON SGH-T469W BLUETOOTH HEADSET

The generic PIN (Which is what I'm guessing you need) for most bluetooth devices is either 0000, or 1234. Please try those and see if that solves your problem.

Pairing Problem

It may be that the phone does not play music through bluetooth and that it only plays through the earphones that come with the phone. The only way to find out is to read the documentation on the phone or try another bluetooth headset, really. The headset cannot be faulty as it pairs correctly and it works with calls. Bluetooth headsets are not really intended for playing music as it drastically reduces battery life.

My phone is off but it wont turns on

Ensure the battery has a good charge on it, and attempt to turn the item on while plugged in to the charger. If this does not work, I would return it for a replacement.
