My alarm started going off for no reason 2 nights ago and no matter what buttons I pushed on the remote I could not get it to stop. Shortly after the battery died. I jumped the battery off and the alarm still went off. I've tried unlocking the doors manually, pushing all buttons on the remote, pushing the button underneath the dash, everything I can think of to try. The car will not start.. I'm assuming the alarm shut down the starter. How do I fix the problem?? I need my car!!! I hate this alarm and would like to permanently disable it because it constantly drains my battery anyway! Please help me!!!

You have the timer turned on. Verify in owners manual how to de activate. And/or you have the low voltage turn on or the temperature recognition turn on.
I'm not sure what model alarm you have from Viper, but what I would do if this were my vehicle is remove this alarm system entirely from the vehicle. The issue is most likely caused with the circuitry in the unit itself, that will require replacement. You can replace a component in the alarm system after you diagnose the cause or remove it, and this will bring the car back to before an alarm system was installed and solve this starting anytime it wants issue. Just a quick suggestion
Common issue. Open doorAlarm will be going offLocate the antenna (should be on the windshield)Find the little black push button on the antenna.Turn key to the ON/IGN position (where all lights are on)WITHIN 5 SECONDS push the black button 1 time and release (unless your installer changed the number of pushes it should be 1)Within seconds the alarm will ceaseStart your vehicle.
Get in car........alarm will be going offVisually find the black valet button..........it should be next to led on the antennaTurn key to IGN position...........so all dash lights are onWithin 5 seconds push the valet button 1 time..............may have been programmed to more times, but ussually notSiren should stop and you can start the car. TO put into valet mode Key to IGNKey to OFFPush valet button 1 time.Led should now be solid.
Hello my name is Israel and I will be able to help you. First I will need for you to look for the alarm unit. The model you are giving me is for the remote not the alarm. Once you have this information, let me know and I will send you the instructions for programing the remote to the unit.
Try this first, unplug the 2-way antenna on your windshield. Let it sit for at least a few minutes. Try recoding the remotes after you replug the antenna back in. This is an issue i have seen on some of the Viper units. Usually they never have issues, but here and there they need reset.
