Error Code: 39,003.40:133671 Yesterday the copier/scanner would not work. I shut the printer down and restarted it and received the above error code. I shut the printer down again and restarted it and it started fine. I copied several documents. Later I needed to scan a document and copy it and the light was off on the copy/scanner window and it would not copy/scan. Again I shut it down and it stayed shut down for the night. This morning I restarted the printer and the same error message came back. I shut it down again and restarted it. Right now it seems to be working okay again, don't know for how long. Printer is almost 4 years old now and never had any problems before.

A quick look on the internet told me that this is probably a HP ColourLaserjet series printer/copier, and have proceeded on this basis using the 5500 model. This particular code crops up on several models and the explanation is given below:
Description:- A printer error has occurred.
X Description: 1 scanner error 2 scanner startup error 3 scanner rotation error Y Description 0 no color K black C cyan M magenta Y yellow
Remedy:- 1. Press GO to continue. 2. Turn the printer off and then back on. 3. Reseat the connectors between the laser/scanner (J74 - J77) and DC controller PCB (J1106 - J1109). 4. Replace the defective laser/ scanner assembly. Calibrate the printer after replacing the laser/scanner. 5. Replace the DC controller PCB. Calibrate the printer after replacing the DC controller.

for the 5500, but there are drop down menus above the error details which enable you to change the model number to your specific machine and then you will get the exact requirements. I recommend you do this as although the error code description for other models is the same, the PCB numbers under the "Remedy" are different for different models. C0214 Image transfer voltage problem
refers to high voltage - will need a service call

"Internal error occurred. Scanner driver will be closed. code 7,202,15"
Received the above error while inserting scanner image using MS Word with Canon printer/scanner Pixma 439.

The solution is via the following MS Word software choices:
From Word tool bar choose: INSERT/PICTURE/FROM SCANNER/then one of two choices, either: WIA-WIA Canon MX430 Series, or choose CUSTOM INSERT (Preferable).

RE: Scanner gives me code 5,145,61 how can fix it ?

I was using wireless router and receive exactly the same error code as above.
SOLUTION: Turn-off printer/scanner; reset or turn-off the wireless router power and then turn-on again. Turn-on the scanner. Start scanning.

switch on the machine, press *(additional function) 2and8 together and again *, on screen select copier>function>clear>error>ok. switch off the machine and restart.still problem appears then check fuser unit.

error message 0cx05d1381, ink system failure. I shut it down and restarted it. same error msg. ??

From what I have read, it has to do with the scanner arm is jammed or locked. You may be able to toggle the plastic slider above the scanner glass near the hinge from the locked position. That didn't work in my case, but if you tear the scanner down, you may be able to free it. Otherwise a new scanner portion may be required.

Look for the error code, that would lead you to the problem area, most likely the fuser assy. needs to be replaced. Do this, Press;
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS,
press 2 and 8 (together),
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS again,
You should now be in Service mode, if not hit CLEAR twice then repeat the steps above.
press COPIER,
press ERR
the one listed at the top is the error code.(write it down)

You can try clearing the code then reboothing the machine with the right side switch and it might work.
This is how you clear the code, follow all the steps above except the last one (ERR) instead select FUNCTION above then CLEAR then ERR. Turn the machine off then back on again.
If that does not help and you are still having the same problem, you could either call Canon with a service call, call a local technician or get yourself a service manual and with the error code you wrote down above try looking it up or contact us again with the error code. Good luck.

E0747 is usually the cable between the scanner and the machine. (on most canons)
Make sure that the cable is not plugged into the wrong port, also make sure it's not loose.
