Thanks for contacting Fixya.com.

As a veteran Epson user, I can usually find out just what Epson offers in the way of drivers for any of their printers, depending upon the version of operating system is requiring printer drivers. This is no exception with the Epson LX 300+.

Unfortunately, Epson only made drivers for the LX 300+ for Windows OS XP and earlier. As of current there are no drivers for PCs with Vista or Windows XP made for the Epson LX 300+.

Here is the link directly from Epson's Printer Drivers & Support page for the LX 300+
Epson LX 300+ Drivers & Downloads Page

If you truly need another Epson Impact Printer which is possibly windows compatible, I would recommend visiting the link below in order to find a more Windows 7 comparable model, if there are any.

Epson Support -Impact Printers

I hope this information does provide you confirmation of what you have been seeking for this printer model.

Regards,

How to remove the Print Drivers from Windows 7 machine

aulty print drivers can give you a lot of headaches. In my case, print spooler was constantly crashing, or it was crashing when I tried to open Print Properties of the Print Device.
Since the problem is mostly in a faulty print driver here are the steps on how to remove the print driver from Windows 7. Procedure is slightly different from previous Operating Systems as now we'll have to use the Print Management tool.
Click Start (Win Orb)
Type: 'Print Management'
In the left pane navigate to: Print Servers ' PC Name (local) ' Drivers
Delete the faulty print driver, or if you're not sure, delete all of the Print Drivers listed.
Restart and try to download another/updated driver for your printer from the manufacturer's web site.

I just bought a whole set of inkjet cartridges. My printer went through the cleaning process. Then it started printing a document. But there was nothing printed on the paper. The paper was clean without...

Please try to to print a test page and see the results. If the test page prints correctly then there is nothing wrong with your printer. Since you have changed the operating system you are required to update the printer driver. For that go to your printer site. Under the support find out which driver is compatible with windows 7. Download the same. You should not have any difficulty printing when you have the latest driver.

Instal hp dekjet 1280 with hp wireless printing upgrade kit in windos 7

Wireless printers may face an installation problem with Windows 7 operating system. For example, Toshiba laptop is compatible with this operating system yet it may require a driver download for executing a print command on wireless printer. To combat this challenge, users are advised to delete and re-install the printer. If the problem persists assign the wireless printer to a fixed address through a router instead of the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Accessing the wireless printer from a laptop with Windows 7 operating system can be a challenge. Often, it may display the printer to be offline. To resolve the issue, users must cancel printing jobs immediately and delete offline printers from the Printers option in the Control Panel. Visit the Printer properties and access the Ports tab, delete the printer that displays the offline status and appears as Client Side Rendering Provider. Delete the Port button and click apply. Restart the PC. Now re-install the wireless printer by visiting the Control panel, opening Printers and clicking option add a printer. Now select add a local printer, followed by selecting the option "Use an existing port", LPT1: (Printer Port). Install the printer driver offered by Windows 7. In the next window leave the Set as a default printer box unchecked and re-name the printer. Click Next. Upon successful installation, the operating system will display the message "You've successfully added printer name"

After upgrading to window 7, 2 printers, Lexmark z22 & hp deskjet 1120c will not allow print request out of the quew even tho the printers are listed as compatible by window 7

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:)) julyallan01_52.jpg
