There must be a problem on the mechanical system specially the cartridge carrier open the cover and check for any breaks on the belts replace them if any.

It could be a defective cart, but it also could be that the connections from the printer to the cart are not making good contact. Pull the cart, and gently wipe the connections with a soft cloth. Very gently clean the wires that connect, being careful not to bend them in the printer....
Your description of the problem means that in your word processor you have specified color printing. Here you must change it to B&W. Then it will print black. Also do the same in Print manager.
first thing you should do is to check the cart again and make sure no packing material shoud nt be ther.. try to clean the cart..perform reset.. if it doesnt work.. replace the cart.. cart are bad.

hi, if you have put a new cartridge it has a protection tape stuck on the nozzel, we have to remove it before installing it.the yellow light indicates no or bad cartridge, may be this should solve the problem.. let me know..
