how many times it blink will tell you what is wrong check at the codes. unplug thermostat check fo homs 10 k around is fine at 80 degrees pressure switch require a by pass but DO NOT RUN THE HEATER WITH A BY PASS ANY CONTROL!!!!

SOURCE: I have a minimax nt 250 not working

Check your connections from the fan to the pressure switch for the fan. It will be a tube comming off the fan housing, follow the hose to the pressure switch. Use a jumper wire on the pre. sw. and see if that helps then check the hose and connections to be sure they are clear. Worst case between 70-80 dollars for the pre. sw. and you can do this yourself. If this does not do the job I suggest another repairman. Good luck.

My Minimax 400 has been running for 8 hours and temp has only gone up 15-18 degrees. all lights are on and everythings to be working fine. the water from the jets doesnt feel hot like it typically would....

themal bypass.. looks like an automotive thermostat ,locater in the header.
temp should roughly 20 degrees difference from in and out

I have a minimax 250 i can light the pilot but the main burner will not light. i jump the th to th/pp and the pilot goes out.

are you sure your jumping th and th/pp? the labeling on valve is a little deceptive.should use 1st and 3rd terminal on gas valve. if your using correct terminals try same thing with thermostat wires disconnected from gas valve. this will isolate valve from all controls and safties.if it fires valve is good and need to look in thermostat loop for problems. hope this helps

I have a minimax 250 that will only ignite if cranked to max heat. This can get very annoying when you don't want this much heat. Burners are clean. Pump pressure is normal(18psi). Suggestions please?

Sounds like a defective thermostat or temerature sensor.

Pentair 250 CH LP will not ignite. Pilot works

to test the presure sensor jump the wires that plug in to the sensor if it turns on the presure sensor is bad and the the thermostat do you mean thermo sensor the one that checks the water tep follow the wires to were they plug in turn power off get your finger wet and put it were it plugs in on the 2 prong and turn it on the heater will light up if the sensor is bad

that one think thats bad with pentair heaters they say when you turn one on stand to the right cause the door can blow off because the way there burner are set up u need to take out the burner trays and clen them this problem does not happen with raypak heaters
