Only one computer on my wireless network finds Airport Express. I have Airport utility installed on both of my laptops in my network, but only one of them finds the Airport Express? I can ping the ip-address of the Airport Express from both computers and get reponse, but only one of the finds the device in the Airport utility. I have compared the settings on my laptops and I can't find any difference in their setup. Any suggestions what to look for?

Hi I was searching this site for a solution to a problem I am having and came across your post. I had the same issue and what I did was reset my airport express to factory settings (detailed in manual) - this enabled the Airport extreme to find/pair with it.

The default adress for your router is 192.168.1.1 Try that one and you should be able to get into your router.

connect a ethernet cable to it. find it in the utility and reset it.

1. From the information given this is a VOIP enhance router with wireless capabilities. Provided by the Internet Service provider.
2. the manual shows that this router has no firmware updates and has a fix firmware. Therefore the ISP has to either walk you through setting up your Apple Express Air card on the MacBook or your MacBook is not compatible with the router. This can only be found out by contacting the ISP who provided you the DSL internet service.
