You can request replacement manuals at the playmobil.com website. I would give a direct link but I don't know what country you are in. Just go to http://www.playmobil.com

The first page should give you an option to select your country. Then click on the contact link in the upper right corner of the web page. That should take you to a page to enter in the year of your birth. After entering that, you should be able to fill in a form to direct your request to the proper department. I have used this form in the past with great success. Their customer service is very good! Hope that helps!

is it the hilton drop side cherry single crib? if so i found this recall web site about it. http://www.babyzone.com/safety/recalls/article/2009-jardine-crib-recall you might want to check it out. Here is a site that has people who have jardine baby furniture. You could ask one of them the phone number they called to get information. I have a bassett 3 in 1 crib model # 5860-0620 and have lost the instructions trying to get copy so i can put crib together
I called Bassettbaby after reading about drop-side recalls and they sent me a conversion kit to immobilize the drop-side of this crib to make it fit the new safety standards. While I was talking to their customer service rep, I asked if they could also send me a copy of the instruction manual as I purchased my crib used and it did not come with the manual. The rep emailed me the manual right away - I've uploaded it to Google Docs for anybody else who might need it. I highly recommend calling their customer support at 800-308-7485 to get a conversion kit if you also are using this crib.

crib or bassinet??? if it is th bassint pictured in your posting, then take it back to the store it has been recalled due to strangulation of two children if it is crib, check the simplicity for children website at simplicityforchildren.com as many of their cribs were affected by the drop side recall as well.

The straps will not loosen or tighten
double check on the web site. not too long ago there was a safety recall issued about the harness straps. if not you can always look on the company's web site for instructions
