The website told me that the d70 has a FAQ section which should have answers to many questions posed by owners of the D70 camera.

The PDF files are not available for download, per se, but answers to questions can be found in links to the above web page.

Yes, you do have chances to recover deleted pictures can if you take the right steps.

First things first - stop taking more photos (or videos) using the same camera (memory card) in case you may quite possibly ruin the chances of recovery.

Then connect the camera (Sandisk memory card) to your computer which has installed a data recovery software. Check this site Digital Camera Recovery for several tested and nice programs working under Both Windows and Mac OS X. Best regards and hope it help you out.

Won't take a picture?? Why not?? Chip in? battery up? Any error readings? Lens in place? Set on auto? Camera on? Check owner's manual? If you need repair, United Camera is a good place for Nikon repair, they have fixed 2 of my cameras. good prices, no problems.

I can get my 50mm lens to work with my d70 nikon.

If the lens has an aperture ring, make sure it is set on the largest f number. Make sure the lens is mounted fully on camera. Oherwise an AF 50mmm f1.8 lens should work on a D70 with no problem
