Just got an xbox 360 slim 250GB but when I went to play halo 3, the game was lagging along with the xbox menu itself. I even connected a plug-in controller and I had the same result showing that it was not the controller. What can I do to fix the lag? P.S. My xbox is connected using a R.C.A cable NOT an HD cable.

Do you use Wi-Fi or an ethernet cable? If you are experiencing severe lag, it could be a problem with your actual internet connection and not necessarily your XBox 360.

I would purchase an ethernet cable (they run about $10 over here in the states) and try that out before anything else

its just a lag.. it happens to me all the time.. just play for a while and check ur apperence, it should be there again.

well its probably if your playing online there is a problem with lag. your opponents may live far away from you.
i live in the usa *WOOT* and i tried playing campaign with my friend in norfolk but it timed me out too. and when we played matchmaking everything was fine soi'd probably get a router adapter to speed up your connection.

first check your fire wall settings on your comp, then make sure its just halo, if its just halo then it could be the disc.

check the game for dirt or scratchs or any kind of problem it might be the game it happened to me once so it is most likely the game
