Truck acts like it is running out of gas? Replaced fuel filter. Ran fine for awhile but now still acts like it is starving for fuel.

take a look at the two relays on the top of fender sheild, these go bad alot,one is for the ecm and the other for the fuelpump,start there and also you may want to check to see what is not happening like spark or fuel

Lose of power on acceleration like its starving

Sounds like there is a load of dirty fuel in that gas tank. Ran good for a while after changing fuel filter, then began to run poorly again. Remove fuel tank, drain and clean out, replace fuel filter AGAIN. That should cure it. Hope this helps

you probly just had trach in the filter and now it is gone so fuel is passing fine

My '93 f-250 (4.9L) stopped running while driving, now it acts like it isn't getting any fuel. Tried switching tanks, but still does the same. What would be the problem.

Check the fuel pressure,a lot of the time when changing the fuel filter the vehicle will run fine,but the fuel pump has been under a strain trying to pump the fuel,and it will go out soon after replacing the fuel filter,if this was at all helpful,please rate thank you,.

Not sure how to check fuel pressure. I also know that I added a 5 gal can of diesel and that my of had the water in it. Will it cause the new filter to collaspe?

2005 tundra runs fine with full tank of gas. but when it gets to half tank of gas.it acts like it starves for gas . wont stall .but wont go over 10 miles an hr
