I have a HD-Z56RX5 JVC D-ILA HDMI . I changed the lamp but it's very dim, it doesn't make noises or it doesn't turn off or blink , everything looks fine except the colour and and it's dark. Where do you think the problem might be? i purchased the lamp from the States which was TS-CL110uAA , where my last lamp was a TS-CL110C. Discount Merchants said this was the same lamp. Need your help Susan.

Spots on the screen/picture can be caused by three things. Dust on the inside of the screen, on the mirror or in the light engine or optical block. The first two can be corrected by you if you can gain access to the interior. If it is the third (light engine. it will require a technician. Hi, don`t know if you`ll be able to find this but D9405 a surface mount diode on the main power supply board is a known issue for yours and many other models, it has to be re-soldered not replaced, other joints in area may also need to be "touched up", other than that I had one where connector CN310 was not seated correctly, one side of plug was cocked way up, other than those 2 you may have a bad ballast (board that the lamp is connected to), Be sure that the lamp door is securely closed as they have a switch built into them and if the switch is not closed the set WILL NOT start, hope this helps you out, BMW Rider

Hey, it is another service menu screen. you access it the same way, except push the sleep timer button until you see 30 min, then push display and video status. self check is #2. if any of the categories has "NG" followed by a number, that means that the is an error. See what you can find out.

The HD-ila sets accumulate a lot of dust in the light engine. The worst offender is the little fold mirror just under the lens. I take my set apart about every 8 months or so to clean all the dust from the light tunnel and all lenses, mirrors, diffusers etc. The picture really regains it's pop when this is done. Unless you are a skilled technician though, I would recommend against attemptimg this procedure as you need to disconnect the individual color lcds. Check with a local service center to get it properly cleaned.

pop the front strip under frnt of screen off. remove screws around back edge off screen and under the frnt of th screen. Usa a micro fiber cloth to clen screen.
