I need the wiring schematic for kenwood kvt617dvd. I lost the connector,I want to know the wire location to the stereo. The factory manual is hard to read. Please help Thank you ,Todd

pretty basic red is pwr yellow is constant blk is ground and the green wire well just ground out that out too

I got a kenwood kvt-512 and my ipod seems like it doesnt work ?

go to :- http://kenwood.com/cs/ce/mm/firmware/2008/eng.html

then change the file to an iso and burn to a disc.

put the disc into stereo and press dvd and let the disc do the rest.

hope this helps works on all kvt systems

Kenwood kvt 715dvd wont turn on

check all your fuses. check power for the battery(yellow) wire and red wire(ignition- key must be on), and if all of those are good then check the fuse on the back of the stereo itself, i think it has a 15amp mini fuse in it.
