The loading mechanism has the trouble. The inserted CD or DVD does not engage into the laser assembly unit properly. It may be due some fault with its loading motor or loading belt. Check these.

If you are saying D drive is your CD/VDVD drive? If you are installing from CD/DVD drive then suddenly stop the installation/setup/loading you must check your disc drive. To check your cd/dvd drive insert a cd or dvd cleaner and start cleaning most of the cleaner has a movie inside of the disc and run for about 10 minutes. Then try again installing/setup/loading the program to your computer. If its still the same, replace your CD/DVD drive with a new cd/dvd drive because your cd/dvd drive is need to be replace. There reasons why your DVD tray won't eject
1, a cd got stuck inside
2, Motor belts are loose
3, Loading motor faulty
4, Main loading gear damaged
5, Somebody must have pushed the loading cd tray forcing it to load and waiting for it to load the cd by its self so it has jumped its setting .
If so you have to remove the loading tray and put back correclty then it should load by its self .

first you must check if your portable loads cd or mp3. If it loads cd or mp3 the defect is lens and this should be replace by an expert. If both cd,mp3 and dvd didn't load you check first the ribbon wire for signs of disconnection and foldings and then replace it. If still your portable didn't work the most probable defect is MPEG board.To distinguish if MPEG or lens defect in lens shows malfunction such as not reading dvd but reading mp3 or cd, unwanted stop of play even with a good dvd.

Run DVD/CD cleaner CD using 2 drops of solvent on the brushes and run the cleaner CD twice, the last one being a dry one. If the DVD's are not scratched they will definitely play....sodeep

Hello I was looking to try and help you with your DVD player, we will start by loading a music cd store purchased, no burned cds please, if the cd loads and plays then your dvd player is either out of adjustment or going bad, most dvd players, i have worked on, will load and play a music cd, but will show loading errors when trying DVD's. If the music cd dosen't load then there could be an issue with the drive or tray. If the music cd plays just fine, then your laser is either out of adjustment or going bad. You can call the manufacuter to see if there is a process for resetting the DVD player, not all DVD players have this option, if resetting the DVD player dosen't work, but music cd's do then your laser lens is dirty or going bad. At this point you have three options 1) Take it to a repair shop, 2) Get an new one, 3) Get your hands dirty if your really handy and know what your doing to clean and replace the laser. junk it and buy a better player...cheap dvd players fail quickly..

i put a dvd or a cd in the dvd player it say," loading" THEN it says "No Disc" BUT i known the cd or dvd dont be mess up so how can i fix this problem....Kindly reply me

Buy a CD/DVD cleaning disc. Try that. Maybe the read head is dirty.
