Ouch. Sounds weird. Do you mean the whole screen turns blue, then the whole screen turns yellow?

Try pulling the power cord from the wall a cycling the unit back on again.

56 in toshiba rear projection tv. When u turn it on the green light comes on and a yellow light flashes 15times followed by a click sound. No picture. What does this mean?

Try going to www.toshiba.com to research your problem and what the 15 flashes of the yellow light means. Try unplugging your TV from the wall for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. This will re-boot your TV (like re-booting your computer). If still no picture, if could be your bulb, motherboard or color wheel.

Mitsubishi tv model 73638. new bulb works for a min then shuts off and has flashing yellow light

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication. You can get an idea about the faulty stage circuit inside the TV, by the number of these blinks. Count it carefully, by switching it ON and OFF, more than 2 times at least, so that, you can make sure about the number of these blinks. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. Surf the site in "MOSAIC" view.

Picture loss after picture begins to flash. blue and yellow light

Most likely the lamp is dying. Try replacing the lamp before calling a repair tech. What does the Owners manual say about the blink lights?

Drum Light is flashing yellow

Drum light flashing yellow means the drum is near it's end-of-life. There is some life left in the drum at this point. Do the following to get some more mileage out of your current drum and also when you finally do replace it (this resets the drum counter):

  • Printer on and paper loaded
  • Press and hold blue button until all LEDs light up
  • Release button

Vivitek tv

I have a 56" model that I have had a similar problem. My bulb burned out in <90 days. Warranty was 90 days on the bulb itself. When the TV picture goes out, the indicator LEDS blink on and off.

Here is what you have to determine:

1) First cover the left LED with a piece of paper so that you can't see it blinking. I don't know if your layout is the same as my TV. You may have to switch the paper blocking the LED.

2) Pay attention to the other LED and READ its' flashing code. In my case, the code was 2-3. It would flash 2 times, pause briefly, then flash 3 times. This meant code 23. That indicated the bulb was burned out.

3) If you look in the manual, It does have a code list of some sorts to tell you of the codes and their meanings. Hope this helps.
