The lift-up Reservoir lid on my Cuisinart Automatic Grind and Brew pot has broken. It is Model dgb-300 BK. We paid $100.00 for it about two years ago, and I don't see how to fix it or order a part for it, though we absolutely love this coffee pot so much that I've purchased two others, after ours, and sent them as gifts. Can you help?

Presume this is the Grind & Brew Thermal™ 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Model # DGB-600BCC

Review the sections beginning on page 11 of the pdf on Turning Off the Grind Function (if not using the grind feature) and Making Coffee.

Make sure you are turning off the grind function if using preground coffee and that the reservoir lid is securely closed.

Check the Cups Setting button; is sounds like the 1-4 feature may be turned on.

I have a cuisinart model dgb-600bc coffee grind & brew, didn't have a manual with it when purchased, plugged in it & hit the on button, lights up when pushing in on it, but let it go & it stops, but doesn't brew nothing. HELP -

My grinder was not working properly, because the blade was not rotating freely. So we carefully chipped away some caked on coffee residue. Then it worked for awhile, but started to sound weird and only partially grind the coffee. So we applied a small amount of vegetable oil to the blade and let it seep down a little, and that was very succcessful! Just needed a lube job!
