Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Assuming that you are using an original remote you’ll need to pull out the batteries, reinstall them and reprogram the codes again to resolve the issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

MKS Steering Wheel Audio controls

My MKS had this exact problem earlier this year. I took it in and they ordered and replaced the buttons. It worked fine for about three months and now is starting to act up again. Have you gotten any definitive answers?

My television set is stuck on one channel....the audio changes with the channel but the picture stays blurred on one channel...whats wrong with it?

Lots of possibilities. If you are using the remote, try also using buttons on the TV to change channels. If TV buttons work, the remote is broken or perhaps try changing batteries and cleaning battery contacts on the remote. If neither work, lots of other things to try. You may need to set preselect channels, so your TV thinks there is only one channel out there until you do. If you are on a cable box you just need channel 3 and change channels on the cable box. I can't tell what you mean by "audio changes with the channel" ... if you mean that when you try to advance channels, it increases volume and moving down in channels lowers volume that would be strange -- if you are using a programable remote it might not be set correctly (try another programming code). The "blurred" picture is probably symptomatic of having the set on the wrong channel, and if you could set channel it might clear up ... I'd start with getting channels to change. If you need more help, give the brand and model of TV, say if you are using a remote (original or programable), and what the 'audio changes' comment means in more detail. Probably worst case is that your tuner circuit is fried, but don't assume that without more diagnostic.

Cannot find the remote for my tv (vizio 1080p) I have dishnetwork. How can I reset the channel on the tv to the right channel (60)

Most TV receivers have a set of small buttons for "ON" and "OFF", for channel UP and DOWN,
and for volume UP and DOWN. Look behind the screen to the left side of the TV. The buttons
might also be in the back of the TV. You don't always have to use the remote control device
to operate the TV.

I can change channels by entering the actual channel number on the keypad, but the channel up and down buttons don't work

The up/down button is worn out (guys do this, since we love to channel surf). Keep the original
remote that came with the TV (they're invaluable), but buy a cheap universal replacement remote
(I got my last one at Dollar General for $8), program it for your TV, and surf with that - you'll
get power ON/OFF, channel up/down, and volume control from any universal remote.

I got a remote control for my tv cant change channel

Did you attempt to program the remote with the tv? Is it a universal remote? If so, most remotes come with a list of codes to try with most tv's. Does the volume work? Can you type in a channel direct... pressing 5 for example? If those work but not the up/down channel, the remotes faulty. Or is it set to tv or cable?

My tv is in demo mode and I need to remove it

Try holding the channel up and volume down buttons together on the front of the set until it cuts off. When you turn it back on it should be normal mode. If channel up and volume down doesn't work try channel down and volume up. Thanks

"snow" screen, full volume, remotes don"t work

good day
due to the long time the buttons were not used, they tend to get stuck and this causes channels eighter to stay in one station or continou scanning. it could be resolved by spraying WD40 on the buttons and press it many times then dry it before operating the unit.
