Hello First of all, you must ahve its original remote control to unlock FPA lock. If you have it, go through the folloing steps. * Hold down Menu button on the remote control, and the Volume Down button on the at the same time for at least 4 seconds. "The set won't say so, but the lock will be released". ** Hold down Zero button on the remote control, and the Volume Down button on the TV. The set won't say so, but the lock will be released. *** Hold down Menu button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be released.

Something is wrong..crbr799 your DVD-TV has a TV-DVD button on the right front to switch from TV to DVD play...OPEN button on left side ,place DVD in tray, close & press PLAY... I something simulator that needs the remote control for the SPECIAL functions....by the way the ORIGINAL r\c is $135 to $155, a replacement ($35) will turn the TV\DVD on ( which you can do without the r\c) and NOT function with anything else. P.S. they will try to sell you universal r\c that work with the CABLE boxes, the ones that you pay a monthly fee!!
1. Open trunk
2. Place latch in lock position
3. Pull inside trunk release to see what isn't moving
4. If trunk key won't turn, the key may be worn out and need to be replaced
Sounds like its been put into Hotel Mode. This is a mode normally found on Tv sets that are installed into Hotels Hense the Name this Greys out a lot of the tuning option on the Tv.
Give this ago and see if this will sort you out. Before I go any further be very Carefull in this menu as this is the hidden LG installer menu and I do not want you to brick you telly.
Hold down the menu button on the remote for Approx 5 seconds then type in 1105 This should bring up the hidden installer menu so that you can check that the Hotel mode is not set to on. Make sure this is set to off as This may be the cause of your problem.

You didn"t say already working in AV mode or not. Suppose if it is worked means this is the simple one just change programme (-) button in TV front panel till becomes 1 or 0. After 1 or 0 again you press down the same button you get AV mode. Even you won"t get try in menu features to change AV mode. Even you won"t get there is a problem in Micom section. Technical persons only sort out your problem by changing EEPROM ic. I hope the above information is useful to you.
